Lovely 3 pint oval crock, made in England by Pearson's of Chesterfield.  Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, some minor flaws on the rim of the lid during manufacturing and a swirly mark in the glaze of the pot.  The lid has a vent hole.  This piece would work great as a serving dish use it in the oven to bake beans or casserole.  

Measures 9.5" long and 7.5" wide. Weighs a bit over 4 pounds. 

Stamp on the bottom reads "Made in England, 3pt. by Pearson's of Chesterfield"
